KINGS MANOR FARM BEEF
The Kings Manor herd of Aberdeen Angus beef is reared on organic land and under organic conditions. By 2011 all the beef produced will be fully organic.
The beef feeds on the grass and clover leys which are rotated within the organic rotation. The clover leys put the fertility back into the soil after which organic wheat or barley crops are grown to be used in our own bread.
We believe that having taken such care in rearing our animals, it is important that they are slaughtered as quickly and stress free as possible. We aim to minimise the transportation of animals and only use organically inspected and approved premises.
Our beef is hung and matured for 20 days, and the butchery and processing of the meat is all carried out in our new chilling and cutting facilities on the farm, by a team of expert staff to achieve and maintain our high standards.
We are committed to providing our customers with a good range of high quality meat reared on our farm which is socially and environmentally acceptable.
Our burgers are made of the highest quality with fine cuts from 100% Aberdeen Angus beef.
Sirloin, fillet, rib and other cuts are available in the shop.
